Ways to Help The Initiative
Volunteer your time.
The Initiative needs help of all kinds to complete its objectives. If you would like to work on cataloguing, providing website content, or helping to improve our new online tools, we welcome your assistance.
Tax-Deductible Donations
The Sigma Chi Historical Initiative is supported by Fraternity members via donations to the Sigma Chi Foundation. If you would like to support our work, please consider a tax-deductible gift to the Foundation and tag it "The Sigma Chi Historical Initiative." There are two ways to do this:
Joseph Cookman Nate Fund
A gift to the Joseph Cookman Nate Fund supports The Initiative's day-to-day operations. To make a donation click here, and choose "Special Funds" from the Fund Category list and then choose the Sigma Chi Historical Initiative (Joseph Nate Fund) from the "Fund Name" box.
Boz Prichard Endowment Fund
The Initiative's is also endeavoring to build an endowment to assure continued operations into the future through gifts to The Boz Prichard Endowment Fund. To make a donation to the endowment fund, please contact Ashley Woods at ashley.woods@sigmachi.org or by phone at 847-869-3655 x209.
Special Projects
There are always needs outside normal operations—updating the museum exhibits, equipment and furniture acquisitions (computers, Audio Visual equipment, shelving, etc.), and facility upgrades are all items that fall under this category. Support of Special Projects can take the form of merchandise or monetary donations--again both are tax-deductible. If you are interested helping with a specific Special Project, please contact The Initiative's Director, Noah Phelps at noah.phelps@sigmachi.org or by phone at 847-869-3655 x220.
